Welcome to Harrington Junior School
Harrington Junior School is 'a caring school where every child matters'. We are a busy but friendly school, with lots of events going on. We aspire to learn something new every day and become positive, active citizens within our school and the local community.
Our school aims to prepare pupils for life in modern Britain. We promote fundamental British values through teaching about democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
Our school caters for girls and boys from 7 to 11 years of age (academic years 3-6) and the number of students currently attending the school is approximately 240 students, with a maximum of 31 pupils per class.
Our school currently has 8 classes, with a two form entry throughout the school. We are extremely fortunate to have a number of additional teachers and teaching assistants who work closely with the children to ensure that all children, no matter what their ability, reach their full potential and make good progress at Harrington.
Harrington Junior School is located within a campus of four other schools, offering excellent opportunities for joint events and shared resources.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.
