Tuesday was the end of the term, the end of the academic year and, for our lovely Year 6 pupils, the end of their time here at Harrington. Despite it being the most bizarre year, we had a lovely day complete with a socially distanced picnic, ice creams and celebration time with certificates for each pod/bubble.
These children have been remarkable in their ability to pick up their learning and adapt to the new norm of isolated pods, yet have massively benefited from seeing their friends again.
We wish them all the luck in their world as they begin the next stage of their lives and take brave steps as they commence their education at secondary school.
