  • Y5 revised swimming arrangements

    Year 5 parents - please look out for the letter regarding dropping off pupils for swimming.

    Letter now on the website in 'newsletters' section or a copy will be given to your child today. 

    School staff will be at the West Park Leisure Centre at 8:45 a.m. to allow parents to leave their children safely and be able to walk back to the school campus to deliver other siblings to school.

  • School disco

    To confirm, the disco will occur on Tuesday 1st October and is open to pupils from

    Years 3-6. Tickets cost £2 and are available from the sunshine room at 8:50 each morning. 

  • Parents evening

    Look out for the letter coming home tonight for you to book a time for parents evening. There are two dates - Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th October. 

    We will be arranging for  creche for those families who need to bring children.

  • Important dates for Y6 parents!

    All Year 6 pupils must apply for secondary school by 31 October 2019.

    The local schools are hosting open evenings for parents and pupils to visit. Please note there are two sessions being held at The Long Eaton School.

  • Meet the Teacher parent evening

    On Tuesday 10th September we are hosting a parent evening to allow you to meet your child's new teacher and to hear about what your child will be learning this year. Copies of the literacy and numeracy objectives will be given out, as well as details about the timetable for this year. The meeting will last 45 minutes.

    Staff will be able to answer your questions and encourage you to sign up for the School Dojo; the communication App we use to provide a direct link between parents/ carers and the class teacher.

    Year 5 + Year 6 parents meet in the hall at 6:15 p.m.

    Year 3 and Year 4 parents meet in the hall at 7:00 p.m.

    A creche will be available in the IT suite if required.

     

  • Great start to the term!

    It has been a fabulous start to the new academic year. Pupils have returned ready for action and it has been lovely to see them meet up with their old friends and new teachers.
