  • Cross Country

    Thu 17 Oct 2019 RWilmot
Well done to all pupils who participated in the cross country event today. Many schools took part and our pupils did a great job - with many of them asking to sign up for next year's event and even requesting some pre-season training! Their enthusiasm was a credit to the school.
  • Safeguarding

    Thu 17 Oct 2019 RWilmot

    Polite reminder:

Please do not use the school drive to access the campus, to drop off pupils or to park on. One parent nearly reversed into children and parents walking to school today.

If you are using the area at the end of the drive, please park sensibly to allow cars to move into the area and exit it - please do not block access routes or park on double yellow lines.

Please see the latest safeguarding letter in the newsletter section- there has been a suspicious car reported. This was not during the school day or at home time but later in the evening.

  • Meet the author

    Wed 16 Oct 2019 RWilmot
Mrs Domkowicz led the Year 5 children and staff to Trent College to meet the author, Will Mabbitt on Tuesday. Will gave a very interesting and fun presentation, engaging our pupils to think about how to write and become an author, including the importance of the drafting process. He read from his picture book, 'I Can Only Draw Worms' before speaking about his character, Mable Jones who features in this series of action stories.
  • Harvest gifts

    Wed 16 Oct 2019 RWilmot

Anyone willing to donate a food gift for our harvest table can do so by bringing tinned food, vegetables, rice, pasta or biscuits to the school hall from tomorrow (Thursday 17th). Our harvest festival will take place on Monday 21st October.

    Thanking you in anticipation.

  • Year3/4 football succes

    Wed 16 Oct 2019 RWilmot
Mrs Clarke, our resident football manager, took the Year 3/4 team to play in a local tournament at Friesland School on Tuesday. Well done to all the players - 100% wins until our final match, losing by just one goal. All the players did us proud - and achieved a very noble 2nd place!
