Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Reminder - it's Christmas Jumper Day tomorrow. Pupils can wear their festive jumper over their uniform as a treat - no charge. School will make a donation to NSPCC.
This week Harrington have been competing in the TTRS competition, England Rocks.
Harrington came in the top 20% of over 4000 primary schools!
We are all so proud of the children’s hard work and dedication.
Tomorrow is Children In Need. To take part, children can come in clean PJs (with pants, socks and vest/tshirt underneath) for 50p. Y6 will need to wear trainers as they have PE in the afternoon. Y5 need to bring their PJs in a bag to change into once we are back from swimming so should wear normal school uniform to the pool.
To participate in a smaller way, you can wear odd socks!
Everyone needs to bring a coat.
We also have biscuits on sale at breaktime in the hall for 50p. All monies raised will go to support this charity.
If you do not wish to participate, please come in normal school uniform.
Our poppy appeal will open tomorrow. Poppies are available for a donation of 50p. We also have remembrance gifts such as reflective bag tags 50p, zip tags 50p, wristbands £1 and snap bands £2.
Available from Mrs Clarke in the school hall at break time.

School finishes next Friday (27th) and we have the half term holiday for one week.
We return to school on Monday 6th November, when we shall be opening with poetry week, new curriculum topics and our after school clubs.
Thank you to all who attended the parent evenings this week - we had an excellent turn-out and staff really valued meeting you. I hope you enjoyed seeing the work your child has produced and that you could see the progress they are making.
Thank you also for the positive feedback.
It's obviously going to be VERY wet today. Pupils will be encouraged to enter the school by the NEAREST door possible as they arrive. Spare/change of clothes can be brought - probably spare shoes and socks will be useful.
We will be keeping as warm and dry as we can today.
I will be keeping an eye on the environmental alerts re flooding in the area so please keep checking the dojo for any updates.
Well done Harrington Community- you have raised a fabulous £265 for Macmillan!!
Thank you for all donations of cakes and money. Thank you to our very kind volunteers for their time and cooking expertise 🌟
